Lockdown is one of the urgent actions. Although Canada is among the most safety countries around the world, violent crimes are inevitable and still happening. It is mandantory for QEA students to learn how to react during a public terrorist attacks and school attacks.

The following are some suggestions during a lockdown.
1. All students and teachers get in classrooms as quick as possible when hearing the lockdown alarm.
2. Lock the door block the window and turn off the lights.
3. Turn off or mute phones, keep quiet, don’t answer any question from people outside.
4. Move to the corner on the same side of the door in silence.
5. Only hear “All Clear”, everyone leaves classrooms in order.

Students raised many valuable questions from the perspective of foreigner and Tony answered them with patience.

This special lecture strengthened students’ safety awareness and addressed many local issues about safety. QEA believe after this lecture, students will cope with crisis calmly.
