Ms. Tracey Bourne


With over seventeen years of teaching experience, Tracey has joined QEA and is currently taking on the role of lead Mathematics teacher. She has received her Bachelor of Education degree and her Master of Education from McGill University, one of Canada’s most prestigious institutions.

Tracey has a wealth of private school experience and has taught in Montreal, the United States and here in Toronto.

Most importantly, she has proven to be an invaluable member of the QEA faculty.  Not only is she our mathematics specialist, but is actively involved in student counselling, extra curricular activities and administration.  Tracey balances her teaching career with being a very devoted mother of two children and wife.  We are so pleased to have her as a member of our QEA family.

Bio:

Tracey Bourne is a motivated educator with demonstrated track record for fostering student learning. She has exceptional communication skills with a caring and diplomatic manner. She received Master of Arts in Educational Studies at Concordia University and Bachelor of Education in Mathematics and Economics. She has more than seventeen years of teaching experience in mathematics in both Canada and America and has had two years of experience as Department Chair. Tracey is dedicated to creating stable learning environments and inspiring students to do their best by individualizing instruction based on students’ interests and needs.
