English as Second Language Program is an intensive course moduled in a variety of subjects, with difficulty levels ranging from elementary to advanced.

As the transition phase from Grade 8 to high school, Grade 9 is the year when students can begin to explore their interests and make their preliminary decisions on the direction of their future. In this year, students can choose comprehensive basic courses for better preparation.

As the bridge between elementary education and higher education, most teachers should emphasise to students that Grade 9 is a transition period before they enter Grade 10. Many important courses, such as English, Mathematics, and Science, etc., will become more challenging, so as to let students adapt to the increased degree of difficulty in high school. At the same time, students will have more choices in Grade 10 compared to Grade 9, giving students more chance to access to practical courses.

In Grade 11, students will choose the direction of their higher education: University or College. Grade 11 courses begin to become increasingly challenging, as Grade 11lays the foundation for Grade 12. The basic professional/university preparatory courses such as accounting, economics, and science in business studies, as well as biology, physics, and chemistry in science studies. There will also be art classes, technical design classes, and so on.

Grade 12 is the most challenging year of high school. Subjects will be subdivided again. Many courses require the relevant courses in Grade 11 as prerequisites. Many courses are available for students to choose from, not only to enable students to enter university, but also to lay a solid foundation for University. It is worth noting that universities generally need to have six or more grade 12 university preparation courses at the time of admission.
